My name is Carl Scharenbroch. I have been bass fishing for over 30 years now. Bass fishing, deer hunting, family and friends are my passions in life. And in 2009 their will be a new person who will at times share the front deck of my boat. My new best friend Julie who has made by far the biggest impact on my life will hopefully learn to love bass fishing as much as I do. She is a wonderful person who loves to fish, loves the outdoors, and is very close to her family and friends. I truely look forward to sharing all the great things mother nature has to offer with this special woman who has made my life that much better.
Being the owner of CS Construction has given me the opportunity to pursue bass fishing on a more daily basis, even though I put in more hours working for myself, I am still afforded the days off when needed. The summer of 2008 was a very busy year in construction for the business, and I did not fish as much as I would have liked. 2009 brings tons of new expectations for my partner Keith and myself. I look forward to fishing the Big Bucks Bass circuit once again on the Wolf River, along with a new circuit which will be run out of Winneconne. All in all I believe we will fish 8 tournaments on the Wolf this year, along with a few other opens thrown in here and there.
I really enjoy being on the water and meeting new people, the great thing about bass fishing is that the door to learning is always open. Even after 30 years of strictly bassin, the learning never stops. I am amazed by the new techniques that catch bass year after year, and what you can learn by fishing with different people.
I have been lucky enough to fish bass all over  the United States and still think Wisconsin has some of the best bass fishing the country has to offer.
My bass fishing ride the last few years has been my 2004 Stratos 201 Pro XL with an Evinrude 225 HO, it's a great ride and fishes extremely well.
My favorite rod is any Falcon Rod.
My favorite reel is a Curado 200 dhsv.
P-line and Stren super braid are my lines of choice.
Bassin History
I have been fishing bass tournaments since the age of 16, along the way I have met some great people, some of which have become great friends. I like fishing with new people, it is a great way to learn new techniques. Over the last 20 years I have put together a tournament resume which includes over 25 first place finishes in open tournaments, over 50 top 10 finishes, 20 big bass awards, 2 time N.E.W. Angler of the Year, 2 time Mega Bass Champion, along with qualifying for the 2004 FLW, Everstart Series Championship

Hope to see you on the water, GOOD FISHING.
