April 19 N.E.W Winneconne did not fish this one due to prior comittment.
April 26 Big Bucks Bass, Winneconne We did not fair so well this year, this was the worse April finish we had had over the last 6 years. We managed only 4 fish for a little over 11 lbs and a 17th place finish.
May 17 & 18 Sturgeon Bay Open Missed this tourney due to building a house, not my house. First time since they have had the SBOBT that I have not fished it.
July 26 Big Bucks Bass, Winneconne We faired a little better this tournament, finished with a 6 fish limit for around 12 lbs and a 11th place finish
Our fish came on horney toads and jigs fishing thick cover in the river.
August 9 Big Bucks Bass, Winneconne Things are starting to look up, we managed a 6 fish limit for 13.76 lbs and a second place finish. Moved into 3rd place for anglers of the year. With only one tourney left for Big Bucks Bass catching the AOY will not be an easy thing to do. Jimmy b and Mike m have a 11 point lead over Keith and I, they will need to have a bad day along with a great day from us to catch them. Our fish in this tourney came up the Wolf River, we had 1 smallie and 5 largies all fish came on plastics fished around heavy cover.
Year to Date
I have had some great days on the water this summer, just not enough time to get out fishing. The construction business has been very busy this year, by far the best year I have had since starting the business 5 years ago. I look forward to the last few tournaments I have this season, and can't wait for the BBB Championship on the Mississippi River this October.

October 3 & 4 tentative date, Big Bucks Bass Championship
